At least thats what the CSR said today. He was not sure of the time frame. Have you resident CSRs heard any thing about this?

Thats why he couldn't sell me insurance policy for my v180. hmm...

insurance hasn't been offered for awhile now. it's because the stock of phones are running out and most are being reserved to honour warranty and existing insurance customers.
I'm sure they won't do anything with ATTW until the customer base drops quite a bit. I wouldn't think it would happend for quite awhile still. depends how fast the customer conversion is.

i read on another site that at&t TDMA will be exhausted by the start of 2008.. but other than that noperz... google it: "at&t tdma 2008"

yup. cingular plans to retire TDMA. 2 years was the least amount of notice the FCC would allow.

*gasp!* I use my tdma unit for voice calls! I hope gsm gets better! Grrr!
