Sharp TM150. I live in North Carolina.

I roam on Cingular and Suncom networks. I only use the Cingular network as it's performance is much better than Suncom.

Reception was very poor in my home until a few months ago. New tower built? Cingular reception has been doing a lot better in the house now. I fluctuate between 2 and 4 bars, 4 being the highest. Suncom is still pretty crappy.

At work and while beboping around, Cingular stays at a constant 4 no matter what.

V300 w/ 850MHz band enabled.
1-5 bars. 1 bar only inside my work building, which is a 7 stories highe concrete thing (used to have NO reception there before enabling the 850MHz band).
Outside usually 4-5. Inside usually 3-5.

truth be it known... if you have tmobile as a carrier and are on a 850mhz signal... you are not using tmobiles signal...tmob is 1900 only

Somerset County, NJ.

One - no bars in my house.
Outside sometimes 2-3 bars.
In NYC 4-5 bars.

Tmobile has acknowledged that there is a known reception problem in my area and has no timeframe on when it will be fixed.
