First off don't bash saying I need to search, I have searched quite a bit and have not been able to unlock this v180. I have the chfaken and motorola unlocker and have tried both, with and without sim chip, it says "suckessful" but the phone isn't actually unlocked, and a previous post with someone asking the same thing refers to the motoaide.com site, but even that site says for other moto phones (that includes the v180 since he doesn't have it in the list) you would have to send it in. I even tried PST with a tutorial i found but it didn't work either. Thanks

If you have Version R365 you need to downgrade it to R364 inorder to unlock it with that software

just checked again and yeah, i've made sure it's downgraded to 364, have done everything i've read but everytime i reboot phone it just comes with "Enter Subsidy Pass" again, about to check out the tutorial the above guy mentioned

dunno if i went to the right tutorial section, i went to the one within this forum, but the first tutorial i saw was literally a copy of the motoaide one i referenced earlier

i went ahead and tried both of them again, but yeah, they're the same as the motoaide and the same within this forum, i can easily get the IMEI number, are there any free programs that generate the codes like i've heard about with nokia? seems like those are infinitely easier to unlock, just yesterday we unlocked a v180 no problem with just the motorola unlocker that the links you've sent me use. thanks again
