Hi guys!!!

It's probably a stupid question, but I really like the phone so I thought I would give it a shot...

The phone fell from my pocket while I was on my motorbike, and broke in two pieces, the num pad and the slide.Nothing seems actually broken, but there is a wide cable that connects the two,and is ripped off from the num pad side...

Does anyone know if a fix is possible?Or should I do the obvious and simply throw it away...?

R.I.P. nice phone... icon_cry.gif

The cable might have just pulled out of the connector. Anyway you can get the cable on its own. Here is one on e-bay in the UK.

I would buy also a new OEM housing (Samsung Original) If the phone is in two bits it has more than likely snapped the plastic rails it slides on.

Looking @ around £25-30 for repair. If you look for D500 housing instructions or videos you can use these to put your phone back together.

OK man,thanks for the reply!!!!
I think I'll try and fix it myself, some guys at a greek forum said it might get up to 200 E with the authorized service here...

That E-bay item though is for D600,is that the same?Cause I found a D500 cable,for about $3...

And about the instructions videos,I guess there should be a link or something...

Anyway thanks again fro the help.
Be well!!
