Im going to buy UNLOCKED a L7 SLVR from ebay soon. We are also getting a T-mobile contract so i want to be able to use T-zones on this slvr. I already tried the following links:
http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic25108.html
http://tmobileus.wdsglobal.com/phonefirst
http://support.t-mobile.com/knowbase/root/public/tm21385.htm?
None of them said anything about this perticular phone, you cant select it from the list. I just want to put the T-mobile sim card in the cingular L7 SLVR phone and use T-zones. Can you guys help me out?

well i can tell u that that u wont be able to get T-Zones to work on your phone, at all, probably download stuff (MyT-Mobile.com) but u are outta luck for the actual t-zones
even if we can send u an OTA (over the air) update it has to be a t-mobile supported handset and actuaaly gotten through t-mobile

Ive seen people you can get cingular's web browser on a T-mobile phone. And 2nd i saw an auction on ebay where someone was selling a SLVR L7 he said if the winner gave him the details he would program the web browser if they had Cingular or T-mobile. I could not buy it then because i did not have the money to afford it.

Another thing i just called T-mobile and told them about my situation. They said they would be able to configure it over the phone or even do it manually for free. I told him if he was sure about this on the Motorola SLVR L7 and he assured me he was. Can someone please explain that to me. I mean im told no by you guys but then i call them up and he said yes. Talk about mixed signals

I don't see any different between T-zone and Mms setting ?? they both looks like T-Zone .. shouldn't be T-zone APN should be disable , and Mms enable .. thanks

dont listen to them it works just fine. I baught an SLVR and I have tmobile and my t-zones works absoultely fine. the only thing i cant get to work is my picture/video mssg's but regular txt mssg's work fine. you just have to update your mms settings when you get ur phone, although my phone is not a unlocked cingular slvr but one from europe

Hey ZERONAMIC...I think you and I are in similar situations. I have an unlocked motorola L7 and my MMS works, but my t-zones does not. Would you mind posting the settings that you have? I can let you know how I got my MMS to work. Ttyl.
