Okay I have a Samsung SGH-T309, and I want to upgrade to a Samsung SGH-T809 and I was wondering how much would that be? And what would I have to go through to do all of this? Because I know the T809 is $300 with new service agreement. So would it be $400 without? I`m really confused about this.

I need help too, here is my question:
Im going to buy UNLOCKED a L7 SLVR from ebay soon. We are also getting a T-mobile contract so i want to be able to use T-zones on this slvr. I already tried the following links:
http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic25108.html
http://tmobileus.wdsglobal.com/phonefirst
http://support.t-mobile.com/knowbase/root/public/tm21385.htm?
None of them said anything about this perticular phone, you cant select it from the list. I just want to put the T-mobile sim card in the cingular L7 SLVR phone and use T-zones. Can you guys help me out?

i dont think you can use t-zones with an unlocked fone because i think t-zones is only for the actual t-mobile phones.. somethin like that

well i can tell u that that u wont be able to get T-Zones to work on your phone at all, probably download stuff (MyT-Mobile.com) but u are outta luck.
even if we can send u an OTA (over the air) update it has to be a t-mobile supported handset and actuaaly gotten through t-mobile

I don't know about you guys. I got 3 6230 nokia's all are cingular branded phones for 3 different lines and 1 black rzr. All of them can get to t-zones. Send pic messages and videos. Just follow the setting on the sticky and a liitle of common sense.

If you go to howardforums.com and look around you can get a flash program to change setting to work T-Zone. When I changed to Cingular I looked into it to change T-Mobile to Cingular. There are also a few other forums that can help.

I used to work for them, left to make more money.
As for the original posters question, call 611 and ask.
It depends on a few things, like how long its been since you got a discount on a phone, and how long you have a good payment history.
If its been a year or so and good payment history you will in many cases get it cheaper than a new activation.
Also check Tmobile.com you can upgrade from there, just log in as your phone number.
