Nope, i'd say nothing to do with battery, but your video bitrate and framerate...Do as the guy above said

Sorry if this has been said before but I believe the problem you are having is not with the phone, but with the computer you convert the video files with. You need to playback the file you have converted on the computer first and if the problem with the audio and video loosing sync occurs then the problem is either that you are running too many power hungry apps at once or your system is not powerful enough to perform the conversion. If the video plays fine on the computer then it should have no problems playing on the phone. Also a good free program for converting to 3gp is the nokia multimedia converter v2.0, I kno the slvr is not a nokia lol, but it converts a full movie down to less than 45 mb in great quality.
Hope this helps, sorry if i've repeated anything that anyone else has said.
Regards
Jason

I tried this and after adjusting the bit rate to 64 and frame rate to 15 have not had any problems. The information on this thread has been very helpful.
Thanks

Just joined the site to help u folks get better settings.
Xillisoft is very restrictive, so i use Sorenson Squeeze.. ipod, slvr, w/e.. the frame rate is watever u set it to, same goes for sound.
My settings for one video:
Length: 4:40
Size: 2975kb
Type: Mp4
Frame Rate: 25fps
Bitrate: dont remember.. very low though (but watchable)
Just one question, how do you set it so that pictures/movies go directly to the memory card. I have to be using MPT to add the files, i heard iTunes can do it, but it wont detect the phone..

To transfer directly to the card, get a usb cable for the phone. The usb port on the SLVR is just a mini usb port (Mini 5 Pin B) so you may find you have one lying around the house from a digital camera or something similar. Just plug it in and it should automatically find the drivers, then appear in 'My Computer' and you can transfer files directly to and from it, just like you would do for a digital camera or a usb stick etc...
Got a 1gb card in my slvr and have Ice Age 2 on my phone in under 45mb which really impressed my friends. Also have about 200 songs on there and just as many images and the space seemingly never goes down. When using the camera, the number of pictures left just displays 999 and seemingly never goes down.
I am very impressed about the size of the memory card. Who'd have thought you could get 1gb of storage on something the size of a finger nail?

Hello...
First post. I was wondering if anyone ever came up with some concrete settings for adding movies on the slvr?
I am using ImTOOMPEG Encoder 3. I have tried the various settings posted here but none I have found worked just right. The biggest problem is that the sound is close to being synced but just not there yet. The sound always seem to be just a bit ahead of where it should be.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
