Hello...

First post. I was wondering if anyone ever came up with some concrete settings for adding movies on the slvr?

I am using ImTOOMPEG Encoder 3. I have tried the various settings posted here but none I have found worked just right. The biggest problem is that the sound is close to being synced but just not there yet. The sound always seem to be just a bit ahead of where it should be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is the sound out of sync when you play the converted movie back on the computer?

yes it is. As a side note, the program I am using is the trial version. I wonder if I get the full version if that would help?

As the sync is out on your computer then it is either the software or the hardware on your computer causing the problem. If I were you I would try another conversion program discussed in this forum or try using the version you have on someone elses computer and see if this helps.

Does anyone have the optimal settings for the V360. I was playing around and I had 120 bitrate with 15fps no lag/skip but then I could play 2mins since I'm messing around with the trial version of xilisoft.

EDIT: OK bitrate at 256 and 15fps with disabled audio doesn't lag at all since I can see the difference when I add audio in the video. I have to go low as 160 to get audio bitrate at 32 to work without any probs for the first minute and then it lags and comes back to normal sometimes. But now I just moved the file to the phone instead of the card and no lag throughout video. So it's the card and the transferring speed that causes the vidz to lag.

I'm aware that someone else has asked this without a response post, but I'm hoping that someone has figured it out by now. Just bought my slvr today; and have packed it with mp3s and videos. Is it posible to remove the bar below the vid, so that its just the vid on screen? And is there a way to move the vid to a horizontal? Watching it from the side could add some viewing space. Right now I'm using Videora Ipod converter. Works great, but has no option to flip the video... is there anyone else trying to squeeze a couple more pixels outta this screen?

The Razr's are really limited on video capability and playback, but the new Razr's the V3xx, V3 Maxx, RIZR, and K1, have higher end spec and will be way better for transfering movies, and for playback. the pod site at highstreetmobile.com has some good audio on this. If you rss the show it updates every week on the motorola release dates.

I'm new to this forum and I have been reading through some of the posts but haven't seen this problem come up yet. Hopefully someone can help me. When I transfer the movie over to my phone and try to disconnect my phone once the transfer is finished it won't let me and says that it can't because it is being used by another program. I can't figure out the program that is using it so I end up just disconnecting my phone manually. I'm not sure if its ok to keep doing that so if anyone has some insight it would be well appreciated. I've been having some trouble with my audio/video sync and I'm going to try some of the suggestions that have been posted so far. I will post something if I come across anything solid that works. Thanks.
