I just got my SLVR its awsome although no, its record more that 30 seconds no matter if you have the free space available, it only allows 30 secs. My sister has the Samsung e635 and she recorded almost six minutes of something so im sure on that one you can record as much as you want and stores in teh memory. Is that all sir?

yeap that will be enuff..so u reccomend me on getting it?well at least if i can't record i can put large scaled file sized movies like comedy to watch..that was the only purpose of me recording.in L6 i thought if i select the mms or maximum setting for video would be differed by actually its the same.i think probably the quality..anywae is the camera good?and would you reccomend a mid phone user like me to buy it?

I haven't taken a look at the L7 yet, but you should be able to set the video recording time just like the RAZR.

VIDEO Camera > Menu > Video setup > Video length > Maximum

Please let me know if this is not the case. Like I said, i dont actually have the phone to test it. Thanks

What excatly do you want to do besides record long videos? I know the SLVR can play MPEG 4 video's. Hmm maybe you should get the newest RAZR? It has a megapix cam, mp3 player, can record unlimited and also playback MPEGS. By thw way what phone do you have right now?

actually gresh its still the same.yes it maybe the same interface but it still will record 30 second no matter if you put maximum or not .anywae gresh can i ask you sumthing?how long can ur razr record video?and what model is it.the motorola v3 comes in 3 types.v3c (which is the normal non-expandable memory phone),v3i(the same with v3c except the fact that it has expandable memory) or v3x(with 2 megapixel camera, expandable memory,3g enabled)

Did you try changing storage device to the memory card? It will record more than 30 secs as long as you have space on your TF memord card. As long as your using the phone memory - it won't record over 30 seconds.

I just tested it out and got 40 seconds but i don't have much free space. I have 83 songs in iTunes, 2 music videos & Spider Man (full length movie, ripped from DVD - it won't play but that's another thread).

On the Razr what you actually need to do is set the video length to MMS. Then in MMS setup change the size limit to none - then you can get 60-90 seconds recording time. This is covered in the video recording guide in the tutorials section.

However I have no idea whether this translates to the L7

I changed the resolution from High (176x144) to Low (128x96) and got almost 2 minutes of recording, but the picture is smaller which is a bit or a bad thing, still trying to figure something out to increase video length tho.. if anyone gets anything keep us up to date icon_smile.gif
