Hi Don, 1stly, let me say you have created a great piece of softare in PSMPLAY, although it is still lacking in documentation, and Enlgish help pages. But it's very good otherwise.
Ok, here's my problem, I have searched all over the internet to find the solution, but can't find any:
I am using PSMPLAYER 5.0
When I open a MIDI file to convert to MMF, some of my tracks goes missing, It shows the channel number being grey or "disabled" on the PSMPLAYER panel.
I open the "File properties" and see that it is blank (no data) for the missing channels.
So when I play (or save) the midi file in PSMPLAYER, my song is missing some notes and instruments. But when I play the same MIDI file on a different player (eg Winamp) the MIDI sounds great with all the tracks and instruments there.
Can you please help me !
btw, my PSMPLAYER wasn't always like this, one fine day it just started having this problem, I have tried re-downloading another copy of PSMPLAYER and the MIDI file, but it still gives the same problem.

Hi Don,
But I converted it last time it was ok, no missing channels all the instruments were there, then now my PSMPLAYER just block out some channels when I open any MIDI file.
What do you mean I select 16-Poly ? (I have the preview set to 16Chords FM), and when I save the mmf, I select SMAF 40Chord) Where do I need to set it ? I'm wanting to convert this for a Samsung C100 phone.
Did you try using a different MIDI player to play the MIDI I emailed you ? It sounds different than when using PSMPLAYER to play right ? Like there are instruments missing when using PSMPLAYER.

Hey Guys,
I took advice from Don and deleted psmplay.ini file from my C:\Windows, and guess what ? It's working like normal again, no missing sounds, nothing missing.
I think it was because I was using an older version of PSMPlayer before, then I downloaded the latest version 5.0, so the psmplay.ini was corrupted.
If anyone else having the same problem, try doing what I did.
when i open the converted file through Easy GPRS it say cant open file...
wat is it?????
