Don't know much about the CDMA models - I think you have to have combinations of programs running etc - try the CDMA forums at www.motomodders.net

To mikekay10...
i was following your discussions on how to tweak the v3 in storing the sms into the phone instead of storing it into the SIM (as it originally does)...i am abit *scared* to do the tweaking u know...
my question is...as soon as you're done tweaking the v3, can you still access the messages stored into your SIM?
ill be waiting for your reply...
in the maintime...i really would like to communicate with you because i am really interested in making the most of my V3...

I just had my v3 tweaked (storing messages to the phone instead of the SIM)...and it worked!
Wow thanks to mikekay10...you're a genius
Got some observations though...
As soon as the tweak is applied, the "Low Memory" warning diappeared...but the message meter reflects the available space of the SIM and not the Phone, right?
I am just wondering if there's a way to view the message meter limit (this time reflecting the phone mem) so that i will know the space left.
By the way...before i was able to use the p2k tool i had the "cumbersome" process of resolving the missing drivers in order to run the tool.
I thank Apristel for the excellent guide.

It's good to know that lovers of Motorola phones use their skills in enhancing their phones and sharing it here.
"Bravo!"
Thank you once again.

I live in a location where I've got to go 4 miles in any direction to get even 1 bar of reception on my phone. A friend of mine was visiting me a few weeks ago. He's got the same model and same service provider that I've got. The difference was that he had 3 bars of service in my living room where I had none. He said a friend of his had modified his phone to operate at 6 watts instead of 3 watts. He didn't know how to do this, but I'm rather interested if anyone knows how. I've got more minutes expiring from my roll-over account than I'm actually using.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
