Order processing times with Verizon Online

I would appreciate not being accused of being "whiney". I am not claiming this is the worst thing in the world, I am not threatening to move off of Verizon service (probably won't order from the website anymore) .

I have a valid complaint. 9 days to ship out an order is inexcuseable. If they are out of stock of a particular item that should be made clear in the ordering process.

Also, they should respond to information requests in email. They have yet to respond to any of the 3 messages I sent them, one of which is 8 days old.

They claimed they shipped out my order on Thursday. They sent me a confirmation that it was shipped but they did not include a tracking number.

Since they promised to send my order overnight as per my call to internet sales I called on Friday morning to request a tracking number. It confirmed that the scheduled delivery was for the end of the day Friday. So like a an ass I went out of my way to be home Friday afternoon to sign for my awaited package. Never came. I caught internet sales on the phone just before they closed. Initially they told me it should be on the way, call Fedex. Fedex told me that they had only created a shipping label on thursday, but they hadnt handed it off to Fedex for shipping. I called back and confirmed this. They told me I was out of luck, it hadnt been shipped even on Friday, so it would have to wait till Monday. So I still won't get it until Tuesday.

I understand delays, but to find out this information I have had to make numerous lengthy calls to their internet sales team. They never send out info in email.

Like you I am a big proponent of Verizon and enjoy their service. But when someone has a legitimate complaint about my beloved phone provider I don't throw a hissy fit and get all defensive.

just stop whining!!!
