well... cingular let me do it! they let me do an early upgrade ( on both phones), since i've never missed a payment and since i've been with them since "BELLSOUTH WIRELESS" lol. anyways, which phone should i get with my upgrade, i currently have a Moto V180, and my son has a SE z500a. I really dont care which phone i get, but my son really wants a Razr. Are those good phones? (and my son is a teenager, and takes great care of his phones) but 4myself i was looking at the Palm Treo 650 (Refurb). Cingular has a great deal on it for only $149.99 are Refurb phones good to get?
Thanks 4 ALL YOUR HELP!
Chris

if you get a refurb phone I would make sure you get equipment insurance
personally for a PDA the cingular 2125 in my mind is a better deal

That samsung phone you want is already released in select markets. You can check to see if its available in your area by checking cingular's site; go through the area where you put your zipcode in to buy new phones and if it shows up there you can get it. The price listed is $149.99 w/ 2 year agreement, and there's also a $50 rebate available for it.

I have the treo 650 and I love it. close to a computer with limitation. If you don't mind the bulkiness, I recommend the treo for their lower price.

I would wait for the "3G" phones to come out
Also, fyi, the Razr has a Recall on it by both
Cingular & T-Mobile ... seems Motorola had
some quality issues with the circuitry in GSM Models
As to your kid, the Razr, while nice, might be
somewhat delicate, given how most kids behave
and use things ... I would suggest something a
bit more rugged, say a normal flip phone
