I just got the T-Mobile Web service today and so far it's very good with the exception of 1 thing. How do I download games? I have uploaded a few freeware games to a free wap site and I can't download them. I have tried uploading them to other sites also so I know that the site isn't bad. Is it possible that the freeware games aren't compatible with my screen size or memory capacity, etc? But I also downloaded a game on a different phone when I put my SIM card in it.

An easyer way is to get a program called Flash FXP or something like, FTP over to your phones and simply upload the games to the games folder.

Thanks for being the only one to respond. How do I use FlashFXP?

This is just a shot in the dark but...
I was attempting to download ringtones over the net
from my own server and it didn't work. After a little
investigating, I found that I needed to go into my
server settings and set the MIME type for files
which had the ringtone extension (".mmf" in my case).
The tells the downloading application what to do with
the file. Otherwise, it didn't know.
For example, I had to associate
application/x-smaf and application/vnd.smaf with ".mmf".
Perhaps you have a similar problem. I don't know.
What is the file extension?

I have no idea what you mean by your post. But I want to download .jar/.jad files. If I were to upload a .jar/.jad file to lets say AngelFire, could I download it from my phone even though it's not a WAP site? I just want to type in the link to the file. So for example.
www.angelfire.com/xxxx/xxxx/game.jar
Would the phone download the .jar file even know it's hosted on a non-WAP site? Also, I was at my friends house and I did get to download a game somehow. Then the globe stopped spinning signifying that it stopped downloading and it said "Install Error, Service Error"

You must configure the server to deliver the correct MIME type for the jad (text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor) and jar (application/java-archive) files else most phones will reject them; also open the jad file in notepad and ensure it points to the correct jar file with a fully qualified URL (ie. with domain as well).
If you can't configure the MIME type and it is wrong, you'll have to find another server...
And remember to only do it with freeware content
