Not too long ago they were advertising the Magenta RAZR all over their website. NOw when I go to upgrade my phone (Just dropped mine and the hinge cracked off - bought it at street price) I don't see an option to purchase a RAZR AT ALL! Not the Silver one nor the Magenta one.
Have they dumped the RAZR for the PEBL now?

T-Mobile USA and Cingular Wireless have temporarily pulled the Motorola RAZR V3 from sales channels. MobileTracker confirmed the move with T-Mobile though a company spokesperson noted in a telephone call that the popular model is expected to begin shipping again soon, possibly next week.
According to T-Mobile, there was a component issue with a limited number of GSM RAZR handsets purchased by carriers after February 1st. Motorola noted to MobileTracker this afternoon that the issue is related to affected handsets dropping calls and then having the screen go white and reboot. Customers with handsets that are affected should contact their carrier to facilitate an exchange.
At this time the RAZR is still listed on Cingular's online storefront but is marked as out of stock. T-Mobile's store does not show the RAZR at all.
Citing defective chips in "some" RAZRs shipped to carriers after February 1, both carriers have stopped sales of the v3. I know T-mobile is sending all the razrs, ALL of them back to Motorola. Looks like razr supplies will be scarce for a short time at least directly from these 2 carriers.
The phones that could be defective would have increased dropped calls, and the phones could frequently lock up, reset, or go to a 'white screen.'

WOW
I really appreciate all the information. Mine was resetting ALL the time - used to go white and then reset. Glad you cleared it up.
Although at this point I need a new phone anyway, because I dropped my RAZR on a concret sidewalk and the left-hinge totally broke off.
Oh, well.
I looked into the PEBL but its features are lacking. It seems like the V360 has what I want... except its design is lacking.
Thanks again!
