I am a T-mobile "Pay as you go" customer. I really like the service because it costs me about 8 bucks a month and I still have minutes left over. However I must have the MDA!!
I know it's not listed with the other PAYG phones so I emailed T-moblie to see what it would cost without a contract. They emailed me a form letter telling me how to activate PAYG service which I have been using for a year now .
Does anyone know if and how I could get the MDA with PAYG service?

WTF, How can it be $8.00/Month, if the cheapest card is only $10.00. Even with thats its only 50 minutes for a 10 dollar card.

$100 for a 1000 minute card. Minutes are good for a year. I also use TM to-go. Can't be beat if you use don't need a lot of minutes.
As for getting the MDA, try calling or going to a t-mobile store. You may have to pay the full price, plus $50 activation. Last year I bought 2 of the Samsung x395, which wasn't get part of a to-go yet. I paid an upgrade price plus the $50 for each. Took hours because they couldn't figure out how to set things up.

A 25 dollar card is good for 130 minutes and lasts for 3 months. And I don't even use those up so the extra roll over. 25/3 is about 8 bucks.
