Is there no tech support for Cingular on weekends? With ATT, I thought we had tech support 7 days. Could be wrong. Customer service reps are helpful, always nice. I think it's corporate policy, perhaps cutting costs, that could be the problem?

I know my center has tech support on the weekends as i am on tech support and work every other weekend it also depends on which billing market you are in beacuse my center handles telegence markets not the care billing system

former ATT centers (blue) are still 7 days a week... Cingular (orange)centers are mon-sat always has been... there is a small group for orange that does lost and stolen suspensions on the weekend..

and then there is tech services ( the customer does not speak directly with them)

tech well... they are off in their own world

I work in the same call center as Cptech31, on the same team even, just the other weekend. Yes Cingular does have "after hours" support, mostly for what they call "emergency" stuff like Can't make or receive calls... etc., I think we're open 'til 10:00 CST everynight. We both come in early and leave well before closing so I'm not sure.

BTW - Our center serves the Northeast region...
