I am pretty sure I'm going to buy a RAZR v3, but is it really worth the money? I found the Samsung t309 pretty awesome too and for almost half the price (on ebay.) There seems to be a lot of complaints about the RAZR on Amazon, but I've realized that most of them are by people who can't even defrag their HD. So, to members like Samsung (with his cute avatar and RAZR v3i) I ask you: Would you still buy the same phone if your current one broke?

Hey i'll let you know once they get our billing fixed. Since my boyfriend got the black one when it came out, and then I just got the pink one (i returned it) I pulled our billing and have had misc charges all over the place...never had before we changed phones.

What time I had my razr I loved it though & plan on getting the silver one once all the issues are resolved. I noticed that use to, in places that I hardly got a signal, it had bars for svc now. To me it still does all the same normal things...camera, text message, alarm, calculator, and better ringtones. I was happy icon_smile.gif

Wirelessly posted (Gizmo: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; PalmSource/hspr-H102; Blazer/4.2) 16;320x320)

that was the phone of my choice when it first came out. expensive though.

I never had a problem with the black one that I used to have, and my girlfriend now has the silver razr. We both love them and of course if my V3i broke and I was short on cash then I would buy another V3.

I'm going to buy a silver one (I was going to go with magenta but its silly to pay $30-$50 more for a colour,) but I keep seeing people complain about the phone. Is it really that bad? Or, is it just the newer ones?

If there really IS a problem with the phones, maybe its because Motorola is trying to push them out as fast as they can because the demand is so high. At my college, I think there are 100 RAZRs on campus at one time.

I know that T-Mobile has suspended sales because they got a bad batch of them. However mine was T-Mobile UK branded originally and I never had a single problem with the phone and it was completely modified!

I love my RazR as well. Alot of people say stuff like "they're fragile" but not to my experience. My friend was upset with his girlfriend one night when they were on the phone, so after he closed it he put it in the floor and stepped on it hard as hell and yelled, well... a swear word of course icon_smile.gif Sometimes it turns off randomly when I try to do things and close it, but I'm pretty sure it's because I've done stupid things I'm not supposed to. I get signal in places my friends, with the same (T-Mobile) phone company, and I weren't able to. The pictures are great, very clear when good lighting outside, with a 640x480 resolution that looks like they've been taken with a real digital camera. Speaker phone works great, and you can mod practically everything on it. Although alot of people I've seen have the same phone, my is totally customized because of all it's mods and everyone including the people with RazRs want to see my phone. Here's a pic I took on my phone about a month ago, it's from my work

i love my razr, it gets great reception and it beats the CRAP out of the v551 when it comes to headset volume. I probably wouldn't buy another one just because i don't like to stay with the same thing for too long.

my only complaint is battery life- it lasts for 2 or so days before needing a recharge- the v551 i had went for almost the entire week.
