Hi, I'm new here. I just upgraded my T-Mobile Sidekick 2 for the MDA and I was wondering if anyone can share their opinions on the two. I love my Sidekick but it was pretty beat up after having it for a year so I wanted to try something new. Does the MDA come with an email address like the Sidekick? I didn't even think to ask because I spent an hour on the phone getting the upgrade.
Thanks in advance!

The MDA is built for the mobile professional. You can get email on the MDA, but you have to sign up for total internet, which is 29.99 per month, then unlimited text and picture mess is 14.99. The MDA has a 1.3 megapixel camera and has a very high resolution. Add in the Microsoft Mobile Word, Excel, etc it is a powerhouse of a device

with the sidekick2 you can always send an email with pics attached, though.
but the MDA syncs up nice with outlook, you can use your ISPs email for that if you wish.

Yeah, i'm wondering if the MDA has a data plan like the sidekick. When i was speaking to a rep he said yes, for 10 dollars more, but does he just mean the internet and not the texts. If so, how much would it be 44.99 a month instead of 20.00 a month?
Ugh. I really want to upgrade from a sidekick 2, it just looks nicer. Way more professional looking and so sleek Sidekicks are fun, but looking at the specs, the MDA is just a sidekick on professional steroids.

I just got a MDA phone for free today. It came with a charger. I wanted to work the phone and use it myself. I have no idea what's wrong with the phone. The charger wasn't the problem. I have the current MDA Charger. I tired a few chargers and car chargers. No luck! I have no idea why the MDA does not power on. Please let me know what the problem might be.
Thanks,
Mike
