Dude, you're getting annoying.
As for roaming, Cingular and T-Mobile actually share towers, so, it doesn't really matter which carrier you're on, kthnx.

Yes, it does really matter. Cingular and T-Mobile do NOT NOT NOT ***share*** towers. They have a roaming agreement. It MATTERS!!---to BOTH companies...Cingular's terms and conditions state your service cannot be more than 50% on non-Cingular owned systems for 3 consecutive billing cycles or they will cancel your service.... T-Mobile's terms and conditions actually says if you are unprofitable they will cancel your service....it **actually** says that word!!

It was mentioned in one of the first posts that with the family plan, the person whos name was on the account was getting terminated.
Now does that mean that the enitre family of numbers will be terminated, or just that number?
On the flip, if a subordinate number to the account holder's number is EON, would Cingular terminate that specific number, and keep the other lines intact, or would they try and keep the entire plan together?
That way they make money somehow by having a family stay with Cingular.
Ideas?

Off Network usage is determined on a per mobile # basis....therefore, it is possible that multiple lines of a family talk plan are all in violation...but if only one line were in violation it is feasible for the non-violators to remain active

So just b/c you are part of family plan does not necessarily mean that you are safe. Ok, thanks, that is what I thought.

<---has been in PA, Paramus, MS and FL for AT&T & Cingular....
we do not share towers in that if 100% of a customer's off network usage is on T-Mobile it doesn't cost us anything....if that were the case, we would only need an EON dept in CORE and Centennial markets and Alaska...and that is not the case....usage on t-Mobile towers still costs us and is therefore not "shared" in that sense!!

We no longer enforce the excessive off network cancellation policy - too problematic at this time.
