I need to change the band of my cell phone it not work here in Panama the band is 900mhz and here we use 850mhz is there any software or anything to change the band of my cell phone??????

In some S.E phone you can change the firmware and make the frequancy changed ,, example T610 to T637 ... but I haven't tried it myself .. someone said even you changed the firmware it wont change anything , because the Mhz are builtin Hardware .not firmware

if it is a hardware built in the frequancy , there is no way you can get around it .. buy another phone that will support in your country >> GL

press menu scroll to and select connect
scroll to and select GSM network
scroll to and select search mode
then select manual

Nokia you may do the trick mentioned above. But sonyericsson it doesn't stand a chance..!
