you are very right. i deleted the moto skin, coz i really didn't much about it. i tried the 'removing the sim.......' method but din't work, so i did the bootloader but with rsd and the phone sure went back to the it was but lost couple things. messages and the like. not a big problem. all i care much about is the phone in good working condition. i got it man. i guess next time i delete stuff i should not delete the moto skin.

hey mikekay, i've got an off topic question. i know it's probably in one of the threads. just lazy to look for it. do you know how to increase the duration in which the phone should ring b4 it goes to the voice mail?

From the sticky:
Number of rings before call goes to voicemail:
Dial: *61*1xxxxxxxxxx**YY# Hit send
where x's represent your voicemail number
To find VM number: settings, messages, menu (3bars), voicemail setup
YY number of seconds before you want call to be forwarded to Vm, rigs are in 5 sec increment. Therefore, you can select 5,10,15,20,25,30. Remember 30sec is the maxium.
Next:
Go to settings, call forward, voice calls, click on change, select off, select done.
