V3i, Hotmail and on O2
I have a Moto V3i.
I can not get it on to my hotmail account on wap over gprs.
I follow the same route as my Nokia 6310i and 6230
I go to the web page
http://mobile.msn.com/
Click on to the Hotmail option, its asks for email account and password.
Click on logon and it comes up with "Data server not available" were as the Nokias give me my latest 5 emails.
whats wrong? its doing my head in, I love the look of this phone, but if I cant get it work it going have to swapped for a boring Nokia 6230i
PS I'm using it in the wap browser, not the sms based service (20p an alert!!!)

No Idea, I use hotmail on my V635 and I get no problems, are you actually using Hotmail or Windows Live Beta?

just normal hotmail on wap connection using gprs

I don't get a problem, and I'm on O2 as well, hmm, are you sure all your GPRS settings are correct? and your hotmail username, password etc.

all spot on, settings compared with three nokias that it works on

Yes, every thing works, it just fails at the point when you've entered your login detail, you click on go and you get the "Data server not available" message after a short while, have tried it on someone elses T-Mobile V3, still does not work

Well except for the fact that it's taking longer to load than usual I can get on, I'm sorry but I really don't know what it could be.
