I just recently bought a nokia 6682 and had a 512 rsmcc. When i put it in it doesnt detect it? I was wondering if the phone is compatible with the 512 rsmmc? Thanks for everyone's time...

It is compatible, however the card needs to be a RS-DV-MMC.
DV stands for Dual Voltage.
Newer Nokia phones use MMCs with a lower voltage than normal RS-MMCs have, these RS-DV-MMCs have it.

As the other poster said, it HAS to be DV-RSMMC... regular RSMMC will not work.

The model number you need is MU-12. That's the Nokia part number for the 512 MB memory card.

And you pay way to much for it because the name "Nokia" is written additionally on it...
