I have the V3 Razr and want to get rid of the side beeps.
I searched and found this thread...
http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic30504.html
But I don't have any Offset 4E anywhere. I've checked every single file that p2kman shows me and it isn't there. I checked under system, audio, etc.
Anyone know?

Tis a little more difficult than you anticipated. You need to modify the gain_table.bin file. Read my HOW TO: Seem edit guide in the tutorial section for how to modify it. Alternatively use the change volume/gain table menu option in p2ktools.
Be aware this will change other things, from the SEEM map:
external speaker system tone gain effects system tones coming out of the external speaker (reminder tone, style/volume change tone, Continental/Siren/Attention/Classic ringtones, low batt tone, service tone, autoredial ring, roaming ringtone)

You can also use motokit, its like the easiest way IMO.

Yes, check in motokit for gain_table and change system tones to 0

Alright guys, I changed ofset 4E to 0 and now I have a huge problem. When I press the side buttons on my Razr, nothing shows up on the outer LCD screen. It used to show the ring details, but now it shows nothing.
And yes, I did create a backup of that file and I have uploaded the backup, but that didn't seem to fix my problem.
Any ideas?

What program did you use?
Did you restart the phone?

I used P2Kman. Yes, I restarted the phone.
And I did what everyone said, I created a backup of the gain_table and when it didn't work, I uploaded the backup, but that didn't fix my problem.
My outer LCD screen shows my background like it always has, but when I press the side buttons to change the ringtones, it doesn't show anything.

Is that the only problem?
Have you used any other programs at all?

No, that wasn't the only problem. I also wasn't able to get into my ring details because I didn't follow instructions properly when deleting my ringtones, but I fixed that pretty easily.
So now, my only problem is the side buttons and outer LCD screen.

Never heard of this
I am tempted to suggest checking the key mapping in p2k menu editor
