My GF bought a rzor and it was black, she really wanted the pink one, so me being the good BF i am tried to do a good thing. i got the Pink covers and switched the phone to the pink razor. everything works, but the ringer or any ringtones. the only thing i can get to work is the vibrate ringer.
you can make and recieve calls fine. the speaker works fine when you are talking, just cant get the ringer to ring when a call is coming in.
we noticed there is little locks now next to some ringtones, has anyone heard of this? any inpu to myaby help me get back in the bed would be greatly appreciated

The locks are normal
Did you do any software mods or just the hardware?
If its just the covers then I would say you damaged something.
If you deleted any rings or anything like that you may need to delete the two .db files in the audio folder using one of the p2k programs.

i dont think i damaged anything, i was really carful, and everything snaped on and off really easy. everything on the phione works fine too. maybe she deleeted something from the phone. could she have deleted something off the phone without using this pk2man or whatever it is called. she has not hooked it up t a computer or any other devices.

The locks mean that you can't delete it or transfer it using the phone - normal for downloaded stuff - cos they are trying to stop you sharing it.
Without having done any mods using p2k software I very much doubt the problem is a software issue. Have a look at the disassembly guide here: http://www.themotoguide.com/index.php?PID=1&PGID=444
See if you can figure anything you might have done wrong.

thats what i followed to get it apart.. step by step.. is there something she could have deleted from the phone (from the physical phone not hooking it up to a computer or other device) that would effect the ringer?

Nope - you could try a master reset on the phone or you could try deleting the two .db files from the audio folder using a p2k program and restarting if you like. But it is not likely to be that.
