No. A Deep Reset will only affect the phone's memory. Not the SIM card, not the memory card.

Thanks bjoern! Your tips really works! Before this my phone always keep restarting. After reformatting my phone by performing the Deep Reset (*#7370#) my phone has came back to normal. You really save my day. Thanks a lot bro!

I registered here only to say big THANK YOU! I have Nokia 6120 and stops on nokia message before pin can enterd. Its 24/12 and i have to trip more thna 300km to my family and Thanks to YOU, i have GSM working now! I try the trick with GreeN button + 3 + *, then turn phone ON and after some time gsm started! With no contacts in, but its working fine now. Thanks Again! Mary Cristmas to all!
