I just bought my through Amazon.com for $49 after amil in rebate. In my area, they wanted $280 for the phone and $80 worth of accessories. Amazon was a way better deal (like usual). I can't wait for it to come in.

I just bought mine directly from Cingular, in PA. It was $150, and didn't make me deal with the rebate. I know I could have gotten it for less on Amazon, but with them I couldn't choose a local number, and I got an unadvertised $29.95 plan (250 mins w/1000 nights/weekends), so I'm happy paying the extra $100 to be able to just deal with Cingular if I have any issues.
Regarless, it is one fantastic phone. You won't be disappointed no matter where you get it.

I bought mine in Palm Springs, CA last week for $120 after taxes, with instant rebates. I upgraded from my old AT&T plan to a 2yr Cingular plan. I love this phone!

I tried to deal with the local Cingular store, but they wanted to charge me $280 for the phone and accessories and the accessories and keeping my same number werent worth the extra $230.
I am very gald to hear the reviews on this phone. It makes me feel like I chose the right one.
