Ok, I've searched up and down through here and cannot seem to find a straight answer. I purchased MPT software assuming that I would be able to download pictures off of my phone onto my PC and then find out that Verizon has locked out this capability.

I've read through many of the posts about unlocking the phone and downgrading the software, etc. etc. but I have one very simple question.

If I downgrade the software and/or get the phone unlocked (I assume I have to do both just to download photos from the phone) will the phone still operate on Verizon's network? I am really not interetested in making all sorts of changes to it, just want the pictures off of it.

We have 3 of these phones now and use them for work purposes (got them all for free with rebates and upgrades) and just want to get the darn pictures off the phones without having to pay $0.25 a piece to Verizon for them.

You won't be able to unlock a Verizon cell phone because it's a CDMA technology. If it were a GSM then yes you would be able to unlock it.

OK, so which p2k program do you think I should use. I've tried all sorts.

I have both of the Motorola tools and still can't seem to get anything.

I tried various p2k softwares, but not really sure what I should be seeing or downloading. Any help would be great.
