Using Unlocked phones, is matter of simply letting free your phone, to support any network on the world. So using an unlocked phone on a carrier like TMOBILE, isn't a limitation.
But still you have a legal side to think of..!
Your contract with Tmobile, check if they are Okay with it. Contracts like, pay as u go, or 1 or 2 year contracts terms & conditions vary to each other. Due to its unlikely nature in the bond, like Pay as you go, you would simply be paying only when you require to use the service, and the 1 or 2 year contract would need you to pay monthly if you do use it or not, hence this condition prevails.
Finally take this little phenemenon on to your thoughts, and make your decision.

yes, you can use an unlocked w600i but you may not beable to use t-zones on it, as it will be cingular-branded.

because the originally w600 had no t-zone setup .. but you can easily find the t-zone setting in carrier talk forums !!!

you can simply call up tmobile they will help you setup tzones wap mms. I think you can use any phone you want with your tmobile service that is unlocked they dont really care. But before doing so use the original phone that came with the contract a few times as this is usually required by where you buy the phone cause they are working on commision and they only get it if you use there phone in there sim atleast a few mins... tmobile doesnt care thereafter and so the dealer doesnt care either as long as you do what I just mentioned.
