I just got this phone and find myself having to charge it at least once a day. More if I did much internet, picture messaging, or downloading. Haven't really talked a great deal on it.
Does anyone else have this problem with this or any other phones with only 3 hrs talk time?
I've researched and only the Sony Ericsson w600i and z520 have 800 and 900 min. talk time, respectively. I mean of phones that have picture, and internet, but Sprint doesn't have those phones and none of theirs has more than 4 hr. talk time.
Oh, and it takes 3 hrs to charge! I've already replaced it once, so it's not the individual phone. This is ridiculous.
Another thing is that I've been having trouble with is sending pics and text. It says problem due to network failure when I have 3 or 4 bars on my reception doo hickey which is good for my spot.
They had me take my battery out and it worked for a day, then back to the sos.

More like 24 hrs actually. Do you know what I should expect from it, in terms of how long before I should have to recharge it again? Thanks for the reply, my computers been down or I'd have answered sooner.

i also have a 920 and i find the battery life solely depends on how i use the phone. for instance, when i act like a goof and use the mp3 player for a few hours, my battery status will stay on full.. but when i go to make a call the status will quickly drop down to 1 bar after an hour of talk time. but.. when i quit playing w/ it's features and use it .. well.. as you would a bare, basic phone.. i can go 4-5 days w/o charging the phone w/o any problems. and yes, i do still have the factory battery. however, i'm looking into the pro's and con's of the extended battery (which mind you is nearly double the factory one).. only reason as of yet i haven't ordered an extended battery is i'm not quite sure if the phone will still fit into my case as there is dimensionally speaking a 5mm difference in depth between the standard battery and the extended battery. i've also found a few other odds and ends you may or may not find useful. the network failure bug.. and i truly think it's just that as this is my 2nd phone from sprint to experience the problem. my first was a motorola C290 (yeah yeah.. i know.. shit phone, but hey, it was free and i had no idea it was crap.. so yeah.. shoot me) .. i found that after i hooked that phone up to MPT 4.0 and finally was able to sucker it into allowing me to access the phone (by telling mpt it was a v435) and after putting all my screensavers, ringtones, and etc into the phone.. it also experienced the network failure bug. i've successfully replicated the same problem on my samsung a920 .. and i THINK i've found the problem. atleast w/ my phones experiencing the same problem.. it seems NEITHER phone really handles being pc-linked very well. with the samsung, although i don't have full read/write priviledges to the phone as i did with my c290 .. i can still tinker w/ my address book, pictures, and what not.. just not ringtones. (though technically you're not supposed to be able to do this via link cable .. and no, i did not seem edit/flash the phone).. but i've found that this phone also suffers the network bug after i have had the phone on the link cable.. so my words of caution to you.. trash that damn cable.. as its nothing but problems. with the a920.. take out the microSD card, get a reader, and then put your stuff on there. the link cable they send w/ the phone... although it works.. atleast for that the phone allows.. causes more problems than its worth. and for those interested still who refuse to heed my caution yet still want to know how i got access to my phone via usb link cable.. i have 1 word for you.
