I know I know the phone is hooped this one has been posted a million times before.
But my question is what exactly is it that is wrong? Software issue? connection to the speaker? or a hardware issue that lies somewhere in the circuitry?
I tried seem editing to turn up the volume and it didnt fix the problem even though my speaker gain was at 2 instead of 4, i now have it set to 5. At first it seemed like my problem was fixed but it went back to the same thing again after a fiew calls.
Next i figured it was a blown speaker or a connection problem so i took the phone apart. The speaker seemed fine and i cleaned and reattached the connections to the speaker. My phone is now back together and it seems to be working for now... If it goes back to the same problem im going to have to find some other way to fix it since i have no warrenty and i dont want to buy another phone.
Only other thing i can figure is that there is something completly unrepairable or a connection issue with the rubber connectormajiggy that goes to the speaker. Im thinking about soldering wires directly from speaker to the connector that goes to the phone. Does anyone know if there is a point to trying that?
If you dont know what i mean by connectormajiggy i drew a diagram to show how the entire thing was connected. (dont know if there was a point to drawing that but i felt like drawing a diagram lol.)

Have you tried to totally replace a new ear speaker + connection cable ??
if it still happened the same thing , it'll be the volume control hardware

I was afraid to update to my phone to a different model's firmware... is there new firmware for the v400? or is it better to flash to the v600? if it messes up is it undoable?
heres what versions i have now,
Flex: GS9V400MCL01NA1DE
S/W VERSION: TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.73R
DSP S/W VERSION: 62282800
by the way where can i find the new firmware? the links on this site that i found were broken

I checked out that site and the v400 is not listed. Im guessing the v600 speaker will work for it too? Also will switching out the camera give it video capability or is the hardware to support it just not there?

As far as i know by using the new flash you have improve the camera little but to my opinion the v400 take better pic then V600 so don't change the camera unless you have to.
You can email nad ask the seller but i think they are compatable
