You have to install them with the "Application installer" of PC Suite.
The latest version of PC Suite (if I remember correctly since 6.4) associates .jad-files to the "Application Installer" so you normally just have to double click it and it will install directly.

it doesn't work, the .jad file doesn't appear in the application manager. I tried to associate .jad files with application manager, it asked if I wanted to install it, I chose yes and nothing happens. Can I post the .jad here or would it be against the rules?

Maybe the .jad-file is incompatible with your phone?
Normally the file should be transfered to your phone, than the application installer tells you to complete the installation on your phone.
Unless it is freeware or the link to a site were you can get the demo of the app, it is illegal to give links to apps in the forum (you can't attache files).

application installer works with all jad/jar/sis files right? I can't use sis files but it still appears, if I can't use jad files, that should appear too. Right now, .jad files doesn't appear in application installer, is there a way I can send the file to just 1 person to test it out?

Just out of curiosity: you do have the jar-file matching to the jad-file, right?
And as it seems you have a smartphone: the only need the jar-file, the jad file isn't important anymore for them.

Is it possible to use the jad file only or would I have the find the jar? I have the jar somewhere.

The jad-file only contains some installation informations, the jar-file is the real app.
In some jad-files the link to the jar-file in the web is included, so the jar-file will be downloaded automatically, but only in some few.

It doesn't convert jar to jad (impossible), it generates the correct jad-file for the jar-file. The program is called "jadgen".
But the latest PC Suite and smartphones (with Symbian OS) don't need the jad-file anymore.
