Hello,
Out of the flex's listed for the v600 what one is the newest? If thier release date isnt relevant what is the difference between the different unbranded versions
Right now i have my v400 flexed with SE6424AXXT11D4 and TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.75R firm. I want to know if there is a point to changing it.

SE6452AXXP10F9 & TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.2DR. are the latest, I think I'll have to check to be sure. Most of the time they are bug fixes, or enable previously unknows.. that sort of thing.

2DR is not the latest flash, 75R is.
Anyway, flexes contain all the settings and programs that go on the phone. Think of it like this: the flash is the operating system and the flex is all the programs to make the phone work. Different flexes have different things unlocked when you flex your phone, but basically all flexes (To my knowledge) can have everything unlocked through SEEM editing.

Lol yup Anyway, basically brunog you don't need to change your flex. You can activate any features you want on the flex you already have. There is no real reason to change it unless you are having a problem with your phone, which I'm guess you don't.

Some good advice.
IMO these are the only reasons to apply a new flex:
1) You screwed up your phone and need to recover
2) You want a flex for a different provider to that on your phone
3) You want to enable a specific feature and do not feel able to do the edits yourself
However 3) is a bit of a misnomer - since you inevitably end up having to SEEM edit anyway to put things back how you want them

Exactly what mikekay10 said. SEEM editing is rather simple to be honest. There are lost of good tutorials, and there are also some programs which do the SEEM editing for you, all you have to do is download the SEEMs from your phone and tell the program that you want function X activated and then just upload the SEEM to your phone again.
