Hi
I'm a lil confused with memory cards in S60 phones. In the phones which support MMC cards (eg N6600 N3650 N7610), can i put an SD card instead of an MMC card?

No, only MMCs are supported.
SD-Cards won't work at all.

Well, if it is cheap (and/or you want it as secondary), why not?
It also depends on your need. You can forget listening mp3s with it, movies will be ok (with Smartmovie, the internal player doesn't support fullscreen)
Unfortunatly themes ain't supported.

Well, just learnt that 3660 is out of stock in all the stores i know, and i wont buy second-hand 4m ebay. So guess i'll hav 2 wait 4 the 6630's price 2 come down.Cheap smartphones r hard 2 come by. btw, y do u think N6670 costs almost d same as N6630, when 6630 6630 is so better than 6670?

It is better.
Especially the CPU of the 6630 is better: it has 220 MHz CPU, the 6670 only a 123 MHz CPU.
The difference can cleary be recognized when using the phone.
And it has 3G (UMTS/WCDMA).

Yeah i know. Only thing is, it doesn't hav a second camera, but dats fair i think considering the price. The funny thing is diff between price of 6630 and 6670 is only Rs. 1000(currency of India)=$20(approx.) in our country.

A second camer is only useful when you really can use it for videocalls, otherwise it is more than useless...
(but there is a deskstand with a camera for the 6630 so you can make videocalls from home)
In that case I would pay that little bit more and get a better phone

lol, its not dat i'll require a 2nd camera in the near future, just hoped 2 make it future-proof---coz Our country doesn't hav a single 3G enabled telecom service provider (i guess 3G is needed 4 video-calls?), and our city has only 1 EDGE-enabled company.

Yes, you need 3G for videocalls.
At least you've EDGE (which is not supported by the 6670 but by the 6630).
