They are bidding on spectrum that will allow for a high speed data network. I'm not sure what frequencies they are looking at but I think it is 700mhz and 2100mhz

Ok we know how good is 1900 mhz penetrating office building and certain building materials. The question is, if Tmo won the bidding contest, would this solve certain reception problem in office buildings that some of us experience?

As far as I know the spectrum is being used for a 3g data network not for voice services. As I understand it you will still be using 1900mhz for voice calls and this auction will not change how good your signal is in buildings. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

According to the Tmo website. The location where I am at is good. I get full signal bars with my nokia but, If go inside the building and I walk 15 feet away from the wall forget it. Well that's nothing new,right?
