yeah, i formatted it again a few days ago, and this time it took less (is this the antonym for longer? ) than the first time.
anyway, i have reasons to believe the issue was part hardware, coz before i reformatted again, it would reboot whenever i slapped it and now i put something on the battery (i felt it was moving aroung).
since then, it rebooted only once.
thx.

Ah oh yeah, I had that problem with the loose battery with my Nokia 6210 years ago... went to a Nokia shop, the guy put some rubber disks under the battery and it was fixed... and he didn't charge me anything
So it's fine now?

yeah, it's fine, except last night it rebooted again )), after i had removed the card, but only once, and i suspect it was coz of the card.
haven't run tests to see if the card has something to do with it, there's a chance but i don't wanna know i like it better when it works and i don't remove the card often..

oh man a seriously need help! i tried the hard reset with the 3 keys (green key+*+3) and turn phone on but the phone is that bad that it only gets to the startup screen with the word panasonic and then restars,, it just constantly restarts and it never gets a chance to start in the first place, like it is cycling around the "i only just switched it on" screen :'( the reset spoken of here does nothing.. how long does it take for the formatting to begin? i tried for about 5 minutes holding the keys and it just kept restarting as it has been.. do i have to hold it down longer for anything to start happening OR does someone know a way of reseting it manually without needing having the phone on.. it is kinda urgent too as i need the phone in 2 days for a interstate trip.. without it i could be in a lot of trouble
btw it was an application i installed that stuffed it.. i installed it on the memory card but it must got onto the ohone somehow cause the memory card is out and still nothing works.
Please help and thankyou

sorry m8, the green +*+3 didnt work for me, but i know you should keep them pressed until you see "formatting" or smth...
try removing the battery also for a few hours or so... and then format again...
