The phone must be OFF and When optiflash asks you to hit the button, hit it 0,6 second.

Well I turn the phone off but when (optiflash asked me) wanted turn it on, it didn't and after that never turned on

Please help. Strange problem with phone number.
I flashed the D900 bought from Uk, into D908ZCFI1 version(it seems a very popular version in china). But there is a problem with the contacts.
If the I add a name and the number into the contacts, and if the number without start with +44....then, it the phone can only display the name when received a message, but can only display the number when received a call.
But if I delect the +44(the area code) and direct start with a number. then the problem reverse.
I do not know what is the problem from. can you help me out please!!Thanks in advance.

Hey,
I bought a flash cable a while back and i think im finally getting the guts to try this out now. few questions though, ideally for Don becuase he's pretty much the only person i understand here. hehe.
First of all, if i mess this up; can i recover my phone? what are the chances of me totally ruining my phone beyond any repair?
Also, do you have knowhow of firmware, i want the latest UK Orange firmware (with the sidebar) and without the Orange startup screen (i know this exists, i just dont know which one.. or where to get it) to flash onto my allready unbranded D500.
If i can backup my phone book, ad if this wont completely ruin my phone id love to give this a go! Can Don or anyone direct me to the firmware im trying to get please?
