I am struggling to bring back my IMEI, so far I managed to download winIMEI for d900 but its surely not the easiest program to use.( and I am not even sure this program is right one, it might not bewinIMEI after all. exe file name is "ready for d900", wierd. )
With this program I managed to set up my port and country and distributor etc. and it shows "Thread 1 successful" something like that.( and I have no idea what this means )
I can see many buttons at right bottom such as lock/unlock/change IMEI/read IMEI so on so on.but many of them are shaded out including change IMEI button.
So I tried read IMEI first and it says "power jig on in 30 sec" where I got stuck!
I have no idea what it is saying.I checked up google and jig seems to be some sort of device similar to NsPro I presume. I thought with winIMEI i only need flashing cable without special deivices.am I wrong?
Anyway, to sum up (and stop wasting your precious time  ), there are only 2 things I wanted to know.
- "Without proper IMEI what will happen to my phone?"
(maybe service block? I am seriously worried. )
- "How can I reset my IMEI? Plz guide me"
(if winIMEI is the right way, can anyone be nice enuf to be my tutor?)
(or can someone post up the link for guide/tip/manual what so ever?)

hey, i did exactly the same thing about 3 months ago and im still trying to find a way to get it back and from the sounds of it you have been using the same winimei that i used.
the problem with it is it hasnt been cracked (which is a right pain in the arse because it seems to be the only phone out there that doesnt have a corresponding winimei doing the rounds)
ive been searching for ages for a cracked one but to no avail and no you dont usually need anything else for winimei barring a data cable and the program itself.
you could always buy an ns pro box but itll set you back about £100 i think.
with regards to what will happen without your imei im a bit confused as my phone ceased to work completely with regard to phonecalls,texts,internet access etc.basically everything you need a signal for. if the imei is reset to 000s the phone should be useless unless you can get the original no. back or put in a new one,but that has its risks.
ill keep you posted if i find a solution and if youd do the same id appreciate it.
there must be one out there!

I have a D600 which keeps freezing and turning itself off.
Does anyone know what could be the problem?
Can someone send me the latest software for this phone.
You help will be much appreciated, phone just made a year and its no longer covered through warranty.

i've got a big problem. I flasht my phone to D900XEFK2 and now the phone won't get on. I can get a connection throug the usb-flash cabel but notthing els works.I tryed charging the phone but the didnt work.please help. or does somebody have a dutch firmware that works.

I just got a SGH-C417, bought the cable, downloaded PC Studio 1.0 and did the Live Update. Still the software will not find the phone and there's no Trouble shooting info anywhere. I can't even find info on this phone on this site!
Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hey not trying to hijack this thread but I can't find answer to my Q about E317 wich only work on 850mhz and 1900mhz is there any flash to change this phone to work with 900mhz.Thanks

Hello there.i've got a brand new D900I, bought it 2 weeks ago, it's blocked on Orange Romania. I've tried all the possible codes i found, but no result.it's worse, now my IMEI and BT are all zero's.And of course the phone won't even find any network available.
So i suppose i must flash it.But i wanna know what i need 4 this:
1.What cable do i use?In Romania i can't find any serial cable for Samsung.I only have de standard USB cable that came with the phone.
2.What soft?D900 Downloader?
3.I've got two versions of firmware, D900iXEGC4 AND D900iXAGD3.Are they good?
I should mention that i have some experience in motorola flashing/hexing/modding etc.

help needed.i just bought a D520 and afte reading alot in this forum i still cant find any firmware for it or know if optiflash works for this model.
i really hate the fact tht i cant use the melody/vib at the same time.can some pleaaaaaaaseeee guide me through this n tell everythin in detail cuz its making me mad! and plzz tell me the new firmware versions of D520!

bought my E900 in Thailand 2 wks ago, but now I can only run my phone in English, Thai, Malay, Chinese (T), Chinese (S), Mandarin and automatic. But, I'm a dutchie, so I would like to have a firmware for european languages. Could somebody help me at that one? My current firmware is: E900DXGA2.

I have the same problem.
I want to try flashing but i can't get firmware for D900i.
