Hi,

I've just bought a Sony Ericsson W800i phone and realized that the sencond language I need the most (Italian) it's not installed. I need it mainly for predictive text.
Does anyone know if it's possible at all to install a new language on this phone?

Many thanks.

Thanks for your message.
Unfortunately, Sony Ericsson themselves say that it's not possible to add a language!
How can it be? On a phone like that?
Surely there must be a way to upgrade the firmware somehow...

Doesn't anybody know of any "unofficial" way to do it?

Thanks again.

I have the same problem too. I need to be able to text in Chinese characters but my network and the ericsson service center told me that it's not possible.

I do hope that we can find a way to upload or install another language even for just texting.

The unofficial way that will void your warranty!

Davinciteam (Remove the ecom) for €10.00 or buy a flashing cable and search for a free way to flash your phone.
