I find it wierd when reps do this...example:
rep: hi, this is carol smith from blah blah
me: and can i get your cuid.
rep: sure C as in "charlie", S as in "sam" 1234
why don't reps just say C as in CAROL, S as in smith!?
just wierd...

tech!? wow...
sometimes tech will tell me to do some bullshit stuff that doesn't matter to buy them time like checking the ICCID/IMEI when the cust can call fine, but can't sms or something.
I had a tech rep the other day tell me i did a good job. wow, basically, i followed proper troubleshooting, we had to file a ticket.

Afla? Dude. I think Afla had an 80s TV show and wanted to eat cats. I don't remember. I think you meant alpha.
Anyway.
I sometimes mess with people. "C as in sea. W as in why. P as pneumatic." Yeah. I miss the NAS days.

Well you know that when we tech support people ask you to verify info like that it give us time to open the account fully in all the systems and to look at the problem and gives us time to solve it. But if you were in my call center with the new transfer policy you don't have to check C@#p just cold transfer to tech we get reps who cold transfer billing and telegence errors and cingular.com issues

Yeah, the NATO phonetic alphabet. It's alpha..
And yea, I know it's Alf. But I'm being silly.
