You can either ring Cingular or go to their website and get the settings sent to your phone - that will probably be the easiest way. Otherwise search this forum - I'm sure they have been posted a few times

I have checked the Cingular site & called them. They dont have any specs on the phone. I have looked on the forums also & I havent seen any specs for AT&T that supports my phone. Do you or anybody have a link that could help me more. Or have any Motorola A series specs for AT&T gprs and wap configurations? Thank you for your help.

I would call motorola support directly... the MMS and wap setting are posted here... copy them down... I went to the A1000 site (impressive device by the way!!)dloaded the userguide... no setup menu found......

Hey guys actually if you do a search for some firmware (free SIS file) called GPRS Editor. This can be installed onto your A1000 phone via USB, once installed you can modify the current internet account on the phone with the Cingular specs. Once this is done I have found that you literally have to tap on the "Browse" command on the top of the web browser from your phone and select disconnect from the 3 network. When this is done tap on the Browse command again and select "Open New" and type a web address. It will then ask you if you would like to connect to the new network you just setup (assuming you renamed the network to the cingular name). This should solve your problem. But you have to first find this SIS file. Actually I think I still have it, if you want I can e-mail it to you. You also have to call Cingular and have them give you all their specs for their network. Hope this helps.
