Had a '90 Dodge Dynasty I used for college that I would've liked to make into a lowrider. Transmission sucked no matter how any times I worked on it or went to the shop. After 20min, it would give out and there would be no reverse. Only way was to get out and push it.

But the new Dodge's are nice, the Charger and Magnum.

Nissan...my '89 Pathfinder, 195K and still ticking.

I didn't read the entire topic, however I know where its headed FORD ROCKS FORD SUCKS CHEVY ROCKS CHEVY SUCKS so on and so forth, for me (as everyone else should claim) its based on personal experience, I've had chevys and fords

I'm a Honda and Ford guy

Although Nissan makes some of the sleekest cars around, I like hondas because they're easy to work on and still decent power and elegance

86 Honda CRX - No Problems other than a cap and rotor, probly from me driving it hard, Mods: Fixed a few things when I got it (courtesy lights when the door opens) and it has run great for me, I put Mini Cooper 15x6 wheels on it, still waiting on some SI decals for the center caps, it looks clean

87 Pontiac Grand Prix
to be perfectly honest, its a chevy and I've had bad experiences with chevys, its got a 350 chevy bored .40 from the rebuild so its actually a true 358 anywho, it has a Chevy 700R4 trans quite possibly the best chevy tranny of all time, the first two trannies were 200r4s and we(my family) blew them up quite easily with the torque that the original 305 and now the 350 put out so we had the 700 in no problems with it since about to register it in a county where the air is so clean you only have to smog a car when you sell it, so I'm dropping the cat for a test pipe to give the cherrybomb I already have more sound, and a slight boost in hp, god I hate smog regulations so restrictive. The best part of the car is the beautiful T-Tops and my LSD which is very handy for throwing this 3,875 pound tank around corners (oh and it doesn't take much even only pushing around 200 horse, esp in the rain)

94 GMC Jimmy
one word piece, all kinds of stuff on it don't work namely the passenger window and rear window release, however its a salvage so its got an excuse, on its second Trans (are you seeing a pattern as to why I don't like chevys?) other than that its reliable, decent power for a vortec v6

99 Ford Explorer (sisters car)
its had its share of matinence problems, alt. and such, however it's been reliable and has well over 100,000 miles on it

04 Ford Explorer, what can I say its my moms pride and glory, powerful 4.6 v8 reliable as most newer cars are, fun truck would sound good with a dual flow setup, but my mom isn't into the whole horsepower/sound thing.

and finally the pride and glory

1983 Ford F250 3/4 ton rated

What can I say its got a torqey 460ci ford, bulletproff c3 trans, no engine mods, Amer. Racing wheels, semi new paint very subtle chrome trim not too flashy, then the Sony Xplod deck whats stolen when I was in class, so we graphed a newer 97 (JBL Manufatured for ford) Deck and it looks stock clean custom seats, and the kicker? 244,000 miles and counting without any major engine failure, its been abused and beaten and comes back for more the only matinence needed is about 10 years after my dad bought it, it snapped the flywheel, no not the teeth , the center of the flywheel broke due to the age of the steel. other than that its a muscle truck imo

In conclusion FORD AND HONDA

Oh and we had an 88 integra, stock 5spd, nice, some j-a decided to run a stop while I slammed into him (Civic Driver) A side note, most people with civics cant drive or park, I can park the f250 in San Fran better than most people can park their civic in a parking garage made for 60's muscle cars(wide spaces)
