I think that a lot of the warning lables should be removed...I think it would allow "natural selection" to start thinning the slow from the herd again....let 'em use that hairdryer in the tub!

You don't really think too much of like open package eat contents. or no purchase necessary details inside. unless you kinda step back sometimes. and go OMG they think we are REALLY stupid but what is sad is the people who would use a hairdryer while taking a shower probably CAN'T READ!

Thank god it is not that easy to sue people and companies here in germany...
The judges still have a brain and there is no jury.
Two years ago a guy tried to sue a cigarette maker for "only" 213.000 Euro... of course he lost...
And what's with the high indemnity? I know, that the attorney becomes most of it but come on...
To be honest: we laugh about such trials, shake the head and think "How stupid can they be?"
(and that's why many people think that all americans are stupid)
It's completely against common sense to sue for such stupid stuff which is self-inflicted.
Last year there was a girl who didn't get into a club, so she decided to sneak in... through the restroom window... somehow she tumbled while doing it and cracked one of her incisors... she sued the club for smart money... and won.
I bet they now have a label on the windows...
But I've just read that 97% of claim for damages get declined by a judge or are handled out of court.

no here in the usa your not even at home and someone breaks into your home and gets injured they sue you. it's happend before. What was it I read something about in usa about self defense law getting passed in some of the states basically it try's to allow a more "shoot first" idea to prevent crime. In other words it's supposed to empower a law abiding citezen to stop someone commiting a crime. Yeah we have the right to bear arms but a law abiding person who defends themselves probably get sued.. prime example of this sueing thing as the big hollywood bank robbery what was it in 1996 one of the bank robber's family was sueing the police for shooting the guy. (they shot one of them in the head and the other one they shot in the legs i beileve and he bled to death. ) they were wearing body armor. and automatic weapons that were shooting right thru cars and walls and stuff. I don't think they won any money. Or a funny story i read from long while back some guy in england filed a lawsuit for medical damages for getting hit by a bus.. seemingly a decent type of case the bus company sent him a bill to repair the bus. LOL.

I heared about the "shoot first"-stuff... wasn't it one of the Bush family who signed the law?
And I've read there was a guy who broke in a house, got stuck somehow (don't remember exactly)... but the owners were on vacation... when they came home, the guy was still stuck and survived with dogfood (or so)... he sued the family...
