Hey all,
My current phone is fried and im considering what phone to replace it with. I am in Canada with Fido. I was looking for a cheap phone from their website - http://www.fido.ca/portal/product/product.do
Its hard to make up my mind on what phone i should get. Nokias are reliable but they dont come in a flip. Motorolas have awsome features but are unreliable. Ive gone through 2 v400s that ive had to return within the warrenty and now the replacement just died after the warrenty expired (the same old no sound problem). My gf's Razor makes a buzzing noise from the keybad... but in turn my brothers moto v400 works awsome.
Im Considering getting the Moto v360 or a LG... Dont know wich one because i dont know anything about LGs. Are they reliable? How do they compare to moto in regards to thier software and features? What do you all think about the v360? Im afraid to get the v360 just in case its full of problems.
Any feedback or comments would be apreciated.

if you have FIDO service its 1900 mhz only... Rogers are 850/1900...
that could be your issue...1900 doesnt penetrate buildings as well as 850...
I am unsure if the rogers/fido services have combined networks yet...
try putting your phone in 850 only and see if your reception problems are better

so you didnt try the 850 only solution then...
before the merger of ATT and cingular I had several calls with people with same/similar issues... what is happening is the signal is at or near the same level at the 2 frequencies and is switching over constantly... try it for a day...

Sorry for the delayed response. Yep i tried your advice about switching to 850/1900 and its the same thing. 900/1800 says no network so i dont even think that band works. What should speed be set to? Slow Medium fast or continuous? It was set to medium and i set it to continuous and it made no difference.
