Hey guys,
I got this new USB Data Cable for my T-Mobile Samsung X495. The cable they send me is a model X426 not sure if that matters but I install the drivers from the CD. I then install the Samsung software from the site on my PC. I have the phone on and plug the wire in but it turns my phone off. Any reason why this is happening to me?

It suck I have to remove the battery and then I can turn the phone back on. It even turn my phone off if the wire is not even plug into the PC. Any help would be great.

Wrong USB cable. You need one that works for these phones:
x495, x497, e635, d488, e100, e330, e335, e700, e708, e800, e808, e820, s500, s508, x100, x108, x460, x600, x608, x640, e630
the x426 only works with these cell phones:
E715, E105, X426, X427, S307, V205
The wires are different, you are creating a short and will damamge your phone if you keep useing it.

No but to lake bro. Phone is gone now I am trying to buy a Cingular 2125 or Motorola MPx200. I going more toward the MPx200. What do you guys think?
