I've been hearing this n-gage for sometime now. Can somebody tell me the pros and cons of this phone? Is it worth buying? I've heard it is more of a gaming phone type.

I did some research about this smartphone combo
and I ordered as well...will get it in 2 weeks
Pros:
1. a game console + tri-band smartphone + music player/sound recorder + internet radio + FM radio
2. a good value (?!) if you can use most of the features
3. 105MHz ARM processor
4. supports "ringvoice" (mp3, wav, aac format)
5. can play most of games for 3650
6. wireless mulit-player support (BT), online gaming support through GPRS
7. game scene capture capability
8. MMC support up to 128MB (?)
Cons:
1. 300 bucks, may be expensive for some (but consider this, n-gage is "plain" phone, you can check out the price of 6610 as a plain phone)
2. the way to hold as a phone
3. battery cover MUST be removed and the power MUST be turned off in order to change game/mmc card
4. the way of screen layout (portrait)
5. the headphones (not headset) jack is 2.5mm, not 3.5mm, it may be confusing
6. relatively short battery service time compared to GBA
7. size may be a little too big
8. "A" and "B" button as 5 and 7, they may be worn out fast, and may be hard to be found

So you have to remove the batteries before you can play another game? That seems weird, added endeavor for somewhat a nice phone.
I've heard that 512mb MMC can be used as well as for 6600.[/quote]

7. same as the 3650 (just a little bit bigger)
8. the setting of the buttons is completly free to set afaik. I've played with the phone and it's not hard to play, very easy. Tony Hawks rulz

I saw the phone on the site and it looks amazing!!!
Since u (mingkee and James) have seen and tried the phone, can u tell me this::
1. The usb port on the phone: Does the connecting cable come with the phone??
2. I found two Headset plugs on the right of the phone and a earpiece on the top of the phone(as seen at the site). Does that mean for diff options lik radio, mp3 etc i would have to plug in diff headsets??
3. It doesn't have an infra red port rite??

1. Yes, the DKE-2 USB Cable is in the standard sales package.
2. No, one is for the recording cable, so you can record songs analog.
3. afaik it has one.

I actually don't tried the phone, just did some checking
about 10 days, I'll get the phone
1. the usb port looks like the one on NetMD or some digital camers
2. I have no idea too, but I'll use a stereo headphone and 8890 headset
3. no irda support
