if you find another phone that will accept your sim (another ATT GSM phone or an unlocked one) you keep your plan and stay ATT

if you get an unlocked device please ensure that it is capable of BOTH 850 and 1900 mhz

i guess more specifically then, my question is what other models accept my sim card or is it a universal size that fits all gsm phones?

Hey katie. Remember, all phones are essentially unlocked when they come out of the manufacturer.

Many phones sold by carriers come "locked" to that carrier. A "locked" phone can only be used with that carrier; it cannot be used with another carrier's service. (Not counting roaming.)

So with ANY unlocked phone, you will be able to use your sim card. Just slip it in, and you're good to go.

I have a Moto V180 32 bit SIM. Is it possible to get HTTP Secure settings for this unit or did that fade away with AT&T.

The Cingular 8125 is made by HTC aka high tech computer corp. the Device operates on the windows mobile 5 platform so you can deownload Opera and run it on it.

I Recently changed to Cingular and have 2 Samsung D407 phones. First, I do not use or want IM, Media net, Text Messaging, Mobile Email or Cingular mall. Is ther any way I can remove the Icons from my menu or at least have the prompt to go to another Icon first when I select the menu?

Second, Is there a way to Have my name listed in the info bar instead of "Cingular".

Third, I have downloaded some free games from another site to my PC then transfered them to my cellphone but I had to put them in the "other files" folder and they cannot install from that folder. Is there a code to unlock the java like the samsung 500? I tried the codes for that but they don't work on the D407.

Finally, I drive a truck and there is a lot of noise in my cab so I have trouble hearing the phone ring. Is there a way to connect an external amplified speaker to the phone so I can hear ir better?

Thanks in advance for any help,
