Is there a way to connect the L7 to my pc via usb without charging the phone?

Um, why would you want that? ...I actually thought that this is awsome...I have been hooking my phone up to the computer so much I havnt had to use my wall charger <grin>

I found what I was looking for.
SEEM 004a_0001
offset 0207 - bit 0: Disable USB charging (1 off, 0 on)
*edit: Confirmed to work, I can still access all files and it does not charge the phone. The car and wall charger still work.

Out of interest where did you find that? Its not in the SEEM map at http://www.xlr8.us/hofo/map.txt
