I have been with Cingular for about a year now and have been wanting to get a new phone and have found an unlocked Nokia N70 and was wondering if this phone would be compatible. Thanks in Advance!

it won't work on cingular's UMTS network, eventhough it's 3G-enabled. it will operate on the 1900mhz network, but it does not have 850, so you'd be taking a change with reception.

How much of a change? I have been using a Quad-band phone for a while and havent had any problems with reception except half of my school is no bars and the other half is 3, but I rarely go outside of so. Cal sometimes to Vegas

it depends on the area. cingular operates on 850 and 1900. if you're in an area where only 850 is available, that phone won't beable to access it.
check www.wirelessadvisor.com for areas
